What importing does

Nev works without an account, so the links you shorten are remembered by your browser rather than by us. That list lives on one device only. Importing is how you rebuild it after clearing your cookies, switching to a new phone or computer, or moving between browsers.

What you can import

Paste any nev.lt links you already have, one per line or separated by commas. Each link is checked against our system, and only links that still exist are added. Links removed for breaching our Terms of Service, and links already saved on this device, are skipped. You can import up to 100 links at a time, and your device keeps the 100 most recent. Importing only rebuilds your local list. It never changes a link, its destination, or its analytics, and it does not transfer ownership. Anyone holding a shortened link can already view its analytics, as described in our Privacy Policy.
